This bill creates 2 gambling ages in NH (18 and 21) which is confusing. It also increases the size of government as most of the money goes in the general fund. Additionally, since it creates 6 casinos, it will likely eliminate charitable gambling, thus hurting the poor and most vulnerable members of society.

    Some updates:
HB575/ allowing bars to stay open an extra hour – Only 1 person representing them self spoke on the bill (and almost everyone that signed the sheet was a government worker) – People NEED to email the Committee saying they are in favor of this bill. Check the link above for full details but the name of the Committee is the Commerce and Consumer Affairs Committee and the Committee email is HouseCommerceAndConsumerAffairs@leg.state.nh.us

Gun Bills – Lots of people signed the blue sheet on the 4 gun bills. The hearings lasted a long time. The vast majority of the people signed the sheet in favor of liberty. Could still use people emailing the Committee on the 4 bills.

HB399/ anti-NDAA bill – The Committee had a very sympathetic conversation with most of the people that testified. It seemed like most of the people were in agreement that the bill is good.

Medical marijuana – Largely expected to pass the NH House.

2 gambling bills – Largely expected to fail.
