The top prep schools in the nation are concentrated in and around New Hampshire

According to Forbes, New Hampshire students have better access to the nations top prep schools than students in any other state.

Top 20 by State:
New York 7
Taxachusetts 6
New Hampshire 2
California 2
New Jersey 1
Connecticut 1

Top 20 either in NH or with 40 miles of NH:
8 (2 in NH, 2 within 10 miles of NH, 4 within 40 miles of NH)

Top prep school in the US on a per person basis:
NH – 1 school per every 660,000 people
MA – 1 school per every 1,010,000 people
NY – 1 school per every 2,780,000 people
CT – 1 school per every 3,580,000 people
NJ – 1 school per every 8,820,000 people
CA – 1 school per every 18,800,000 people
